Alex Baxter

Alex Baxter is an emerging artist and craftsperson currently living in Bloomfield Michigan. Alex lived in Japan for the first 18 years of their life, moving then to Minnesota for undergrad. After graduating from Macalester College with a major in fine arts and apprenticing there for a year after graduation, Alex moved to Michigan to attend the Cranbrook Academy of Arts, which they will graduate from in 2026. Alex’s work has been included in group shows at the Law Warschaw Gallery and Koch Gallery, St. Paul MN (2023), Bolivar Gallery in Lexington KY (2024), and Harmony Hall Art Gallery in Fort Washington MD (2024)
